On the day of your appointment ... leave your hair alone! Your stylist will cut your curls dry and in their natural state.
Please arrive at the salon with your curls conditioned, detangled, dry and unstyled.
It's important that you have done no twisting, braids, curling iron or flat iron manipulation.
Let your hair hang loosely. Accessories like pony tail holders can disrupt your curl pattern and make it difficult for your stylist to see the tightness of your curls.
If you are currently using products with sulfates, silicones or heavy oils, do your best to avoid them for one to two weeks before your booking. Ditching those ingredients will make your hair softer, more hydrated and more defined, allowing your stylist to see your true curl type.
The length of your appointment will depend on whether you're a newbie, or have been to our CURL lab before. For a new client, plan on being with us for two hours. This will include the initial conversation with your stylist, the actual cut, the transformation service, a styling coaching session, and drying time.
